Sway Bar End Link Installation and Adjustment

991 FRONT

1. Remove Front OEM sway bar links.

2. Install new Dundon Motorsports end links. Torque large M12 bolt and nut (using the nut-side) to 90Nm.

3. Lower Rod end will now sit on the opposite side as OEM.

4. The rod end will now be on the OUTSIDE or the wheel side of the sway bar.

5. Final torque for M10 bolts is 55-60Nm.

DO NOT do final bolt torque until end links have been properly adjusted. With the vehicle on a flat 4 post lift or alignment rack.

6. Install and torque the bolt of only one end link on one side. Turn the turnbuckle to get proper sway bar height and angle similar to the stock bar placement. Lengthen the Drop link by the turnbuckle.

7. Once this position has been set, locate the pinch clamps AWAY from the knuckle, brake lines, and wires. The pinch clamps should face inward. Make sure the rod ends are at a neutral position and centered. They should not be loaded or turned fully or rotated one way or the other.

8. Tighten the pinch bolts until the end link stops turning with a T30 socket. This may take 10-15Nm.

9. The turn buckle should now no longer rotate against the rod ends. Verify Torque on the M10 bolt is 55-60Nm.

10. The opposite side Drop link now needs to be adjusted to a neutral height and then installed.

11. Adjust and turn the turnbuckle until the second drop link lower M10 bolt aligns freely and loosely with the desired hole in the sway bar. Install bolt and rod end on the OUTSIDE of the sway bar. Torque M10 bolt to 55-60Nm.

12. Position Rod ends at a centered neutral position.

13. Locate Pinch clamps facing inward away from obstruction.

14.Tighten the pinch bolts until the end link stops turning with a T30 socket. This may take 10-15Nm.

15. When adjusting the sway bar hole position. If you are moving both end links to the same hole position, you should not have to re set drop link adjustment length.

 

981 REAR

1. Remove REAR OEM sway bar links.

2. Adjust the end links to FULL SHORT length Install new Dundon Motorsports end links.

*at full droop these end links will slightly hit or intersect the brake cooling ducts on a 718 GT4 or RS.

** At nominal ride height they do not touch.

3. Torque large M12 bolt and nut to 90Nm. Final torque for M10 bolt is 55-60Nm.

DO NOT do final bolt torque until end links have been properly adjusted. With the vehicle on a flat 4 post lift or alignment rack.

4. Install and torque the bolt of only one end link on one side.

5. The End link should be at its fully shortened position on one side.

6. Once this position has been set, locate the pinch clamps AWAY from the knuckle, brake lines, and wires. The pinch clamps should face inward. Make sure the rod ends are at a neutral position and centered. They should not be loaded or turned fully or rotated one way or the other.

7. Tighten the pinch bolts until the end link stops turning with a T30 socket. This may take 10-15Nm.

8. The turn buckle should now no longer rotate against the rod ends. Verify Torque on the M10 bolt is 55-60Nm.

991/992 REAR

3. Final torque for M10 bolt is 55-60Nm.

DO NOT do final bolt torque until end links have been properly adjusted. With the vehicle on a flat 4 post lift or alignment rack.

4. Install and torque the bolt of only one end link on one side. Turn the turnbuckle to get proper sway bar height and angle similar to the stock bar placement. Lengthen the Drop link by the turnbuckle.

3. These are side specific as noted by the R and L in the upper housing Torque the M10 Nut to 50Nm.

4. Lower Rod end will be on the OUTSIDE or the wheel side of the sway bar.

5. Final torque is 55-60Nm.
